3. Ginger  is used as a spice for mushrooms, soups, fish, rice and cakes.

A popular research conducted with people who had diabetes type 2, has shown that the regular use of cinnamon can reduce the sugar in the blood and the bad (LDL) cholesterol. The volunteers in the research consumed 1 – 6 grams of cinnamon a day and had their cholesterol reduced for 18%, and sugar in blood for 24%.  In combination with honey, it strengthens the immunity.

*Cinnamon with honey is not only a tasty combination, but also a powerful one, used as a natural medicine.

*During the cold days consume a teaspoon of honey and quarter teaspoon of cinnamon dissolved in a glass of lukewarm water, to improve the resistance of the body to viruses and bacteria.

*Cinnamon stimulates the brain. Studies have shown that the smell of the cinnamon can improve the cognitive abilities, the memory, the performing of certain tasks, and can also increase alertness and concentration.
