Barley meal that will soothe and relax you before you surrender to the dream

Barley meal

Ingredients for 4 people

 

1  onion head

2 rounds of celery root

4 rounds parsnip

1 carrot

1 cup of brown lentil

1 cup of barley

750ml . water

4 pinches of sea salt

a little turmeric

a little chopped ginger

2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley

Cooking meal in layers to get a balanced meal

Preparation

Clean the onion and cut it into cubes . Put it in a pot as a first layer .

Clean and cut the parsnip and celery root  into cubes and put  them in a pot over the onions as a second layer

Third layer shall be cuted carrot into cubes .

Clean and wash lentils and place it in a pot as the fourth layer .

The fifth layer is reserved for barley that you’ve cleaned and washed before you put it in a pot .

Add 750ml . of water and allow to cook for 30 – 40 minutes on low heat .

10 miinutes before it is done add 4 pinches of  sea salt , little turmeric , a little finely chopped ginger and two tablespoons of finely chopped parsley .

Once it is done , mix all the layers to get a balanced meal.

Barley meal

You may eat this balanced meal as a dinner and be sure that you will have a sweet dream.
