 Juice of gourd

pumpkin juice


* 20 g. citric acid (crystalline citric acid) – it is not necessary

* 7 liters of water

* 1 kg. of sugar

* 3 kg. of gourd


After cleaned and cut, put the gourd into a pot together with the sugar and pour the water. Cook it until it softens. Mash the gourd with the water where it was cooked, add citric acid, stir a bit and put the juice in glass bottles. It is the most convenient to put the hot juice in warm sterilized bottles. The closed bottles wrapped in a blanket will get cold by themselves.
